1) Approved paralegal profiles
Paralegals on Let’s-ParaConnect are experienced professionals with prior law-firm and professional office experience. Each paralegal creates a detailed profile outlining their background, practice areas, and project experience. Platform access is approval-based, and profiles are reviewed before approval.
2) Project-based work — not placement
Paralegals independently review postings and apply to work that aligns with their experience. Let’s-ParaConnect does not place, match, or assign paralegals. Attorneys retain full discretion over who they engage and how work is managed.
3) Clear scope before work begins
Each project includes a task overview so expectations are aligned from the outset. Final task details and workflow are confirmed after a paralegal is hired, allowing flexibility while maintaining clarity and control.
4) Secure, approval-based payments
Attorneys pay through Stripe Connect for project work. Let’s-ParaConnect uses Stripe Connect to facilitate payment processing and route payouts to the paralegal connected to that project once project completion is confirmed in the platform or a platform review is resolved. Let’s-ParaConnect charges a platform fee for use of the software platform and does not take custody of user funds.
5) Independent, professional engagement
Paralegals work as independent professionals, not employees of the platform. Attorneys maintain control over scope, communication, and deliverables, remain responsible for supervision and final work product, and are responsible for any required client consent. Unless permitted by applicable professional conduct rules, paralegals may not communicate directly with the attorney’s clients or others involved in the legal matter. Let’s-ParaConnect provides the infrastructure for documentation and workflow clarity, but does not assign engagements or require users to work together.
6) What Let’s-ParaConnect is — and isn’t
It is
- A professional platform for project-based support work
- Built specifically for solo and small-firm attorneys
- Designed for experienced paralegals
- Structured, transparent, and intentional
It is not
- A law firm
- A staffing agency
- A placement service
- A job board
- An open or public sign-up platform
Let’s-ParaConnect is a software platform that enables attorneys to engage independent paralegals and facilitate payments through Stripe Connect. Let’s-ParaConnect is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, does not assign engagements, and is not an escrow service, money transmitter, or payment processor. The platform does not facilitate attorney-client relationships, and attorney-client communications are not permitted on the platform.
Let’s-ParaConnect is a private, approval-based platform. Admission is limited and granted by approval only.
7) Is there a minimum case budget?
Yes. To maintain the standards of the platform, cases posted on Let’s-ParaConnect have a minimum of $400. This reflects the experience level of participating paralegals, whose profiles are reviewed before approval for platform access, and supports focused, professional engagements rather than transactional or under-scoped work.
8) Are there platform fees?
Yes. Let’s-ParaConnect charges a 22% platform fee on completed, paid projects. Stripe processing fees apply as part of the Stripe payment transaction. No additional transaction fees are added beyond the platform fee and Stripe’s processing fees.
9) Admission & availability
Attorney accounts are reviewed and approved manually. We are currently onboarding a limited group of founding attorneys ahead of project posting.
Self-serve account deactivation is handled in Settings. It disables access and removes an account from active platform participation, but it is not full erasure. Attorneys cannot deactivate while involved in an active matter or while escrow, payout, dispute, or other financial obligations remain unresolved.
